Union Refurbishment - Access

Since last summer the Union building has been going through an exciting refurbishment. Activities (including student media), Executive, Advice, and Administration are now all located in brighter, more spacious, more student-friendly offices on the first floor. Make sure you come in and have a look!

Access

We're now in the second stage of the building refit and you'll notice the front of the building has been hoarded off. For the next few months entry will be through the back of the building, either through the bar terrace, or the Club Academy entrance in the basement.

Accessible Entrance

In the short term, our accessible entrance will be on the south side of the building where the side entrance to the Union Shop used to be. Follow the yellow arrows showing the way! A member of staff will be on hand to help people using the accessible entrance. The Union will be installing an accessible lift onto the bar terrace balcony - this should be completed by mid March.

Help Desk (Reception)

The Union reception will be relocated to a temporary space on the curved wall outside the staff office on the first floor.

Gigs

All gigs will enter via the Club Academy entrance and ticket purchases / collects on the night will be from the 1^st floor reception desk.

SPECIAL REQUEST: We love and appreciate all of our gig-goers, but because the first floor is a working office environment during business hours we kindly request that no queuing for gigs take place before 6pm. Thanks! 

Union Shop

The Union shop will be moving to its temporary location in the old activities office in the basement from Monday 13^th February.
